Sponsored by the National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), Polygon Health Analytics is iSMILE (Individualized Social Risk Management in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Care), a cutting-edge digital health tool designed to help individuals with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) manage their condition holistically.
Lupus care extends beyond medical treatment. Many patients face social and economic barriers, such as difficulty accessing healthcare, transportation issues, financial burdens, and a lack of support networks. iSMILE will use real-world data (e.g., Electronic Health Records) and machine learning-based predictive models to assess these challenges, identify relevant risk factors of flares, and connect patients to local and national resources tailored to their needs.
We Need Your Input!
To ensure iSMILE truly benefits the lupus community, we are seeking input from lupus patients and their caregivers (e.g., family members, friends, or professional healthcare workers) to:
✅ Identify Key Needs: What challenges do patients and caregivers face in day-to-day lupus management?
✅ Refine App Features: What functionalities should be included in iSMILE?
✅ Gather Feedback on the Prototype: Participants will get a look at the iSMILE prototype and help improve it before launch.
Who Can Participate?
📌 Lupus patients: If you have SLE, we want to hear your experiences and challenges.
📌 Caregivers: If you care for an SLE patient, your insights are just as important.
