[Philadelphia, September 2, 2025] – Polygon Health Analytics proudly announces the successful graduation of its 2025 Launchpad Program cohort—the second since the program’s inception—marking a significant milestone in our mission to cultivate the next generation of innovators in life sciences and healthcare analytics.
This summer, six exceptional trainees from Boston University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), Temple University, and UC San Diego joined us for an intensive, three-month applied research experience. Each participant contributed to high-impact projects addressing real-world challenges in healthcare and data science.
Program Highlights
The 2025 Launchpad cohort delivered innovative solutions through projects such as:
- Vaccine Vibes – A weekly AI-powered business intelligence newsletter delivering fast, actionable insights on infectious diseases, vaccine R&D, and public health policy. (Shreyash Shinkar & Bhanu Kurakula)
- Real-World Data in the U.S. – A white paper exploring how real-world data is transforming U.S. healthcare and life sciences by mapping key data sources, practical applications, and strategies to address challenges in access, quality, and analytics. (Ina Lee & Liwam Gebru)
- Vaccine Trial Atlas – An interactive dashboard simplifying clinical trial data, enabling patients, researchers, and policymakers to easily search, compare, and analyze global vaccine trials with intuitive filters and visual insights. (Raghav Kharosekar )
- iSMILE Mobile App for Lupus – An AI-driven digital health tool leveraging real-world data and social determinants of health to improve outcomes for systemic lupus erythematosus patients, particularly in underserved populations. (Yiyang Chen)

Polygon Health Analytics is now accepting applications for future Launchpad cohorts, with our largest intake planned for Summer 2026. This program offers recent graduates and professionals a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Real-World Data (RWD), Real-World Evidence (RWE), and Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR).
