PHA LaunchPad Program — Now Recruiting for the 2026 Summer Cohort

Now entering its third year, the Polygon Health Analytics LaunchPad Program is a train-to-hire internship designed to help recent graduates and mid-career professionals transition into the fast-growing fields of Real-World Data (RWD), Real-World Evidence (RWE), and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR).

This immersive program offers hands-on project experience, individualized mentorship, and a potential pathway to full-time employment at Polygon Health Analytics.

We invite applications from graduate students (Master’s or PhD) in:

  • Computer Science
  • Statistics
  • Data Science
  • Information Systems
  • Epidemiology
  • Public Health
  • Related quantitative or health sciences fields

Exceptional undergraduate candidates in the same disciplines may be considered on a competitive basis.

1. AI-Powered Website Chatbot

Help us design and build an intelligent chatbot that enhances how users interact with the company website. You will:

  • Develop conversational flows and NLP pipelines
  • Integrate AI-driven Q&A and guided navigation
  • Build real-time, personalized user interaction features

An ideal project for candidates interested in LLMs, full-stack development, and UI/UX.

2. Clinical Trial Atlas Expansion

Extend the current Vaccine Trial Atlas into a comprehensive Drug Trial Atlas covering the broader clinical trial landscape. You will:

  • Build an end-to-end data pipeline (extraction → curation → database integration)
  • Design scalable data structures for trial analytics
  • Create intuitive interfaces for filtering, visualization, and stakeholder insights

Perfect for candidates interested in data engineering, biostatistics, and health informatics.

3. AI-Assisted Cancer Diagnosis

Join our effort to develop an AI-based diagnostic support tool for oncology leveraging LLMs fine-tuning and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).  You will:

  • Systematically collect and curate clinical guidelines and rare case reports
  • Structure evidence into a searchable knowledge base
  • Build a RAG pipeline for clinically grounded diagnostic suggestions
  • Evaluate performance with expert-reviewed diagnostic queries

Ideal for those passionate about AI, software development, and applied clinical research.
