Job Title: Data Scientist in Healthcare 

Location: On-site (Philadelphia metropolitan area) or Remote

Job Description: Polygon Health Analytics LLC is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Data Scientist to join our team immediately. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced data science and business development teams to explore healthcare data, develop predictive models, and build visualization dashboards aimed at enhancing decision-making processes and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

·      Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models for healthcare data analysis.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver data-driven insights.

·      Clean, preprocess, and analyze both structured and unstructured healthcare data.

·      Design and develop user-friendly visualization dashboards for non-technical stakeholders.

·      Document and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

·      Master’s or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, or a related field.

·      Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools.

·      Familiarity with visualization and machine learning tools and libraries such as RShiny, Python Dash, d3.js, scikit-learn, Keras, and/or PyTorch.

·      Experience in developing and applying large language models to solve real-world healthcare problems is a plus.

·      Basic understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations is advantageous.

·      Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
